tom mcginty

Executive Chef


Tom is a progressive chef and visionary leader with a passion for building winning teams that drive success and business growth through a shared commitment to quality, positive problem solving, and attention to detail. Early in Tom’s professional chef career he spent 8 years leading kitchens in private golf and dining clubs in Florida. He has expertise in both front of house (FOH) and back of house (BOH) operations. Tom is dedicated to driving innovations that create industry-leading culinary and service solutions in hospitality. 

Tom joined the MAC in 2021, bringing with him over 25 years of hospitality experience.

Brad Schendel

Member Services Director


Brad has been providing outstanding service to the Milwaukee Athletic Club and its members since he started working at the Club as a Locker Room Attendant in 1977. He quickly made a positive impression and began working his way up in rank, serving as Athletic Manager, then Athletic Director, and finally moving to his current role as Member Services Director, which he has held for over 20 years. Brad has truly made his career at the MAC, helping members get involved with their Club and coordinating favorite events from Boxing Night and Celebrity Dinners to Badger and Packer Football game trips and Wine Dinners.

Maggie Bleau

Director - Sales


Maggie is a passionate sales professional who creates strong relationships with her clients, many of whom have become trusted friends. She has the patience to listen to and learn what her clients need so she can establish a long-term partnership.

Stephanie Skrade

Director of Concierge Services


Steph is an events professional with a passionate dedication to customer service, a positive and memorable client experience, detail orientation, and professionalism. She has a strong operations background and is skilled in event planning and management, customer service, hospitality, written and verbal communication, and sales. Steph previously worked for Marcus Hotels & Resorts as an Event Manager at the Hilton Milwaukee City Center and The Pfister Hotel. Most recently she worked as a Sales & Catering Manager for Bartolotta Catering and Events at Discovery World.

janet verville

Club Controller


Janet has spent the most of the last 30 years in hospitality, working at various sized properties. Positions include controller, revenue manager, night manager and director of rooms division for a 520 room convention center. She has spent time as a traveling interim manager while working for a management company, running property operations until a permanent general manager was hired. Prior to coming to the MAC, she was the controller for a communication equipment distributor selling products worldwide.


Matt Vollkommer

Director of Finance


Matt started his career in back of house operations working in the kitchen and as a waiter and bartender. He completed internships with Disney and Forte Hotels in London before spending 10 years in finance roles with Marriott International, Renaissance & Ritz Carlton at high profile properties including NY Marriott Marquee, Renaissance Times Square, Chicago Renaissance, JW Marriott DC, and Ritz Carlton Tysons Corner. Matt’s additional experience includes two years with Marcus working in a shared service finance role, seven years building an LLC that was sold to a national chain, and two years of global experience in an Ar/Order to Cash role with Cielo.

Mark Goldin

Athletics Director


Mark started off his career as co-founder of a successful full-service tennis academy in the suburbs of Milwaukee, called Smack Tennis. He then started his college coaching career as Assistant Women’s Tennis Coach for the UW-Milwaukee Panthers, where he helped rebuild the program from last place in the Horizon League to the top of the conference during his 3 years there. Prior to working at the MAC, Mark accepted his first head coaching position at Cardinal Stritch University where he was hired to build the Men’s and Women’s tennis programs from scratch. The Cardinal Stritch University Women’s tennis team reached a top 5 ranking in the nation within Coach Goldin’s 2nd year and the Men followed close behind. Mark received the honor of National Coach of the Year in just his second year.
