What happens when you choose gratitude and appreciation? And how does this relate to health?

According to the National Science Foundation, an average person has about 60,000 thoughts per day. Of these, 80% are negative and 95% are repetitive thoughts. The MAC Gratitude Challenge is the perfect opportunity to rewire your thinking patterns by practicing daily gratitude.

MAC Gratitude Challenge

Join your fellow Members in training your brain to think positive. Visit this blog and comment in the box below (scroll to the bottom of the page) with one thing that you are grateful for each day in April. Please be sure to include your name.

Each day you participate, you will earn $1 toward an Amazon gift card. You must complete at least 27/30 days to receive a $30 Amazon gift card at the end of the challenge. If you miss 3 or more out of 30 days (both consecutive and non-consecutive), you will be eliminated from this challenge.

Goal: Aim for 30 days and witness how this impacts your mental health!

Adopt an Abundance Mindset

“You have the right to choose what to focus on. What’s wrong is always available, but so is what’s right.”
Tony Robbins

Grateful for the technology that allows me to keep in touch with my family…whether they are in Manchester, Bayside, Mumbai, or literally across the street. Might as well be an ocean away!

Close-up Magic! But more importantly knowing the club is working for the members still, which was especially apparent via all the kids having fun on the zoom.

Today I am grateful for my dog Oats who will be ten next month. His presence over the years has been and is still a major part of my regular routine.
He continuously brings me so much joy, I’m lucky to have him with me now more than ever, especially for walks and naps!

The games andpuzzles my daughter drops off. The puzzles have been a challenge on their own. They are absorbing – even though I sometimes feel like I’d like to cut the piece to fit. We’re getting there –

I am thankful for Rupauls drag Race, I had never seen the show before quarantine. It’s both mindless, funny, and has lots of seasons. While it’s an amazing art-form with creative contestants, it’s great background noise while I work on other projects around my home.

I decided to be positive about the break in the grocery supply chain and use the opportunity to cook with different/less ingredients than I usually have. The results have still been delicious and I am developing new recipes out of necessity that will stay in my arsenal even once this is all over.
